The Paris Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to bring to our area, two well known performing Country Music artists and two well known local bands in live performance at the Sizzlin’ Summer Music Fest, August 7, 2010 at the North Logan County Fairgrounds.  Times below are approximate and may vary according to artist/band change outs.

Hellcat Susie will perform from 5:30-6:00 pm, showcasing their talented group of southern rock/country and hot lick “Red Dirt Country” performances.

Willie Stradlin will perform from 6:15-7:15 pm, with a mix of southern rock/country and alternative music.  If you like rowdy southern rock and roll, you won’t want to miss this show.

Wade Bowen  takes command of the stage from 7:30-9:00 pm.  This American singer/songwriter from Waco Texas will please the crowd performing his hit songs from albums such as Try Not to Listen, Life at the Blue Light, Lost Hotel & If We Ever Make it Home.  Bowen writes and performs from a perspective that draws from experiences in life in these times.

Featured Artist John Anderson hits the stage at 9:30 pm.  This country music icon spans three decades of Platinum albums, CMA. ACM and Grammy Awards.  Gifted with one of the most distinctive and instantly recognizable voices in country music.  Anderson’s list of  hits include  “Wild and Blue”; “Swingin” of the 80’s; followed by  “Seminole Wind”and “Straight Tequila Night” hits of the 90’s along with cross-over pop hits like “Dire Straits” “When it Comes To You” His success continues into present day with albums like “Bigger Hands” and the hit “Shuttin’ Detroit Down”  Anderson is truly a contemporary country musical force combined with his undiluted, no-holds barred musical presentations, the power of this chart-topping songwriter is something real that country fans can latch on to.
