Our community has a public swimming pool, tennis courts, ball fields, a city park, and rodeo grounds. The city park contains a picnic area with tables and grills, a short walking or jogging path, a covered pavilion, a restroom facility, and a playground making this a wonderful place to spend a day just relaxing outdoors.

The Mt. Magazine area to the south of our community offers a number of hiking trails, horseback riding trails/camps, ATV trails, hanggliding, rappelling, rock climbing, and several camping and picnic sites. Cove Lake at the base of Mt. Magazine is just one of several wonderful lakes in the area and offers swimming, fishing, hiking, picnic sites, and camp sites (RV hookups are available).
